Our Story
Born at the Wall
Hana (花) means flower in Japanese — a reminder that beauty can grow anywhere, even in rock crevices. We're a one-woman studio in Australia, combining a love for crochet with a deep obsession with climbing.
Every Hana Rock bag starts as a ball of cotton yarn and ends as a fully functional chalk bag with real miniature climbing holds carefully set into the outside. The interior lining, the drawstring, the detachable waist strap — every detail is chosen with climbers in mind.
No two bags are ever exactly alike. The holds are arranged by hand, the colours vary, and each one carries a little bit of the maker's energy into the wall with you.
